Our hearts could not be fuller or more overjoyed as we watched the faces of our graduating students young people we have spent years investing in, planting seeds into, encouraging, mentoring, and walking alongside as they grew. To now witness the full-circle moment of seeing the fruit produced through graduation is truly indescribable.
Saying we are “proud” somehow doesn’t feel adequate enough to capture the journey these incredible young people have taken to arrive at this milestone. Graduation is more than a ceremony, it represents resilience, growth, perseverance, and the beginning of a brand-new season of life.
Success Is Not One-Size-Fits-All
Watching some of our students head off to college, others pursue trade schools and certificate programs, several enter the military, and many step confidently into the workforce reminds us that success is not one-size-fits-all. Each student is stepping into a purposeful path uniquely designed for them, and we could not be more excited for what lies ahead.
At Elevate Phoenix, our pipeline of leadership spans from elementary school all the way through college and career tracks. Witnessing this diverse array of next steps proves that when youth are given a firm foundation, they can confidently claim their futures.
The Journey Continues: R.I.S.E. Program in Action
One of the most exciting moments this summer has also been seeing the very first week of our College Summer Bridge R.I.S.E. Program already in action!
What is the R.I.S.E. Program? Run in partnership with South Mountain Community College, this specialized summer track allows our high school graduates to earn six college credits while finalizing their post-secondary plans.
Watching our graduates continue their journey through mentorship, leadership, and community is exactly what long-term life change relationships are all about—and seeing that promise fulfilled is incredibly rewarding. The hard work doesn’t stop at the graduation stage; our teacher-mentors stay tightly aligned with these students to ensure college retention and operational stability as they navigate higher education.
Welcoming Our Newest Alumni
We are also looking forward to welcoming our newest graduates into our growing Alumni Program, where they will have the opportunity to stay connected, continue growing, and ultimately give back to the very communities they came from.
This continuous ecosystem turns former program participants into next-generation volunteers, leaders, and change-makers right here in Phoenix.
