Thank you for becoming a Champions of Change Youth Sponsor. Your monthly gift is more than just a donation. It provides critical resources and services to help thousands of at-risk youth stay in school so they can achieve a successful future. More than 85% of our youth come from families whose parents, grandparents and even great-grandparents lived their entire lives in poverty. Your sponsorship will help them succeed and break the cycle of poverty for themselves and future generations.
Your monthly support will:
- Teach youth a life skills-based reading and workforce readiness curriculum
- Provide tutoring and homework help
- Teach teens to be leaders and peer mentors
- Provide youth with daily mentoring and encouragement
- Teach workforce preparedness skills to youth starting in Grade 2
- Improve children’s reading and academic skills by giving them free access to thousands of e-books on subjects they love and conducting reading rallies, contests, and other fun activities during the school year and over the summer
- Ensure our teacher-mentors are available 24/7/365 to help youth in distress
- Remind children and teens every day that they are cherished and valued

Your monthly sponsorship gifts add up to make a huge impact. They are combined with other sponsor donations so Elevate Phoenix can conduct and expand all its successful programs and services to serve more than 5,000 youth every year.
You also will benefit by having your monthly donations add up quickly so you qualify for the Arizona Charitable Tax Credit. This credit allows taxpayers to make a charitable contribution to a Qualified Charitable Organization like Elevate Phoenix and receive a dollar-for-dollar tax credit against their state taxes.
The maximum credit that can be claimed on the 2024 Arizona return is $470 for single, married filing separate or head of household taxpayers, and $938 for married filing joint taxpayers. Twelve months of sponsorship gifts equals $444 that you can use for your tax credit. Monthly automatic sponsorship gifts help you attain your tax credit goal quickly and easily.
